Hi! I'm Anna Lowen Smith and I run Anna Lowen Illustration.
Anna Lowen Illustration is a small, self directed business currently based in Middlesbrough that focuses on abstract patterns, animals and nature through the use of beading, prints and embroidery.
I am currently studying Illustration at Leeds Arts University and will graduate the year of 2021. Illustration has always been a huge passion of mine throughout my childhood and still to this day. Growing up, my interests have always circled the environment, surface pattern and travelling which may be apparent through my illustrations and other art work. Alongside this, I have a huge love for interior design, print and colour theory which has definitely worked hand in hand with my interests, bringing them to life with bold, contrasted colours and textural aspects.
